Description: We're excited to announce new Fusion 360 functionality we are calling Read-Only for Me. This feature was created because our users noticed that sometimes Fusion 360 reserved a design for them that they were just wanting to open and inspect. This left others that needed to make changes to the design unable to do so. To improve this workflow we have introduced functionality called Read-Only for Me. With this new functionality, you can right-click on the top node of the Browser and select “Read-Only for Me”. A warning appears letting you know that any changes you have made or will make will not be savable while in read-only. If you accept, Fusion 360 will now unreserve this design to let others on the team open and edit it. After you switch to read-only you'll notice that now other users are able to go in and start work on this assembly. Once others are done with their changes you can now see that the version open is out of date. If you want to see the changes another user has made you can click the Update button at the top of the screen to see what has been done. Fusion 360 will let you know that any changes you made will be discarded when updating and by selecting Yes you agree to discard these changes. If you are in "Read-Only for Me" mode made some changes that you then decide you would like to save you have the option to select "Make Saveable" which then turns off "Read-Only for Me".
